Exterior Painting

We use right equipment to make the job prepared properly and efficient for long lasting, not just cover the problem.

At all times we will use drop sheets/plastic film to protect your belongings – driveway, shrub, plants, deck floor and so on.

Exterior Weatherboard House Painting Project Include:

• Wash down the house with water blasting before painting.
• All loose/peeling paint is removed off, use exterior filler to fill any bad surface before further sanding.
• Loose nails are punched in and re-putty windows where is necessary.
• Paintable and waterproof sealant to fill cracks and gaps.
• Primers are applied to all bare wood and metal, concrete and plaster to ensure adhesion and also prevent future peeling.
• Finish off with two top coats of selected quality paint.
• Any excess paint is removed from windows.
• Touch-up paint is left for future convenience in labelled containers.
• Waste materials, by-products and used solvents are disposed of safely, properly and in an environmentally responsible manner.

Exterior Plaster House Painting Project Include:

• Water blast (low pressure or hose down) exterior of house before any work starts.
  Tape and plastic film off all the joinery.
• Apply paintable and waterproof silicon to all cracks and the areas that enter the cladding.
• Primer on any bare plaster, paint the plaster walls with 2 coats of elastic membrane paint. (eg. Dulux AcraShield/Elestimeric 201).

Exterior Cedar Weatherboards stain/timber oil project include:

• Chem-Wash, then low pressure water blasting to rinse residual.
• Masking off all joinery.
• Apply two or three coats of stain(Woodsman, Cabots or Intergrain) or timber oil (e.g. WoodX cedar oil, Dryden Wood oil or CD50)
